Missouri City has two kinds of roofs: 1970s homes under big oaks in Quail Valley and Hunters Glen, and Sienna roofs now 20 to 30 years old. Apollo Roofing replaces both with Owens Corning Platinum Preferred materials and a lifetime workmanship warranty. Our team has installed 3,000+ roofs across greater Houston.
⭐ 4.9/5 · 540+ Google reviews · Licensed & insured · Lifetime workmanship warranty
In the older neighborhoods, the oaks are the problem. Decades of shade keep shingles damp, so algae grows and the shingles wear out faster. Branches scrape off the granules that protect them. Leaves pack the valleys and gutters, and water backs up under the edges. Many of these homes are on their second or third roof, and the decking underneath is often 50 years old.
Sienna is a different story. Its first homes sold in 1996, and many still have the original builder-grade roof. Those shingles are now reaching the end of their life in Houston’s heat.
Quail Valley, Hunters Glen, Briargate: 1970s brick homes, mature trees, and roofs replaced more than once. The big question is what’s under the shingles.
Sienna: Newer homes, HOA deed restrictions, and first-generation roofs. The big question is matching an approved color and fixing builder-grade ventilation.
Before: Sienna, Missouri City. Worn shingles, with water getting in around the pipe jacks.
After: The new roof: Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration in Estate Gray.
On this Sienna home, water was getting in around the pipe jacks, the collars where vent pipes come through the roof. They’re one of the most common leak spots we find. We replaced the full roof with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Estate Gray.

Answers to the questions Missouri City homeowners ask us most.
Usually, yes. Sienna enforces deed restrictions, which can cover roof color and material. Check with your HOA before ordering. We’ll give you the Owens Corning spec sheet the application asks for.
Maybe. We check the decking during the inspection and give you per-sheet pricing up front, before any work starts.
Yes. Shade keeps shingles damp, branches scrape them, and leaves clog the valleys. Trimming branches back from the roof helps any roof last longer.
Every Apollo roof replacement includes a full tear-off, a decking inspection with per-sheet pricing up front, synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the valleys, Owens Corning architectural shingles, a ventilation check, two magnet sweeps for nails and a final walkthrough.

Keith Wukasch46 days agoReally great experience from the start, with Sabreen Badr helping get me the best cost possible. She was extremely patient and helpful speaking numerous tomes to her Office to get me a great cost. The person who was in charge if the actual Install, Wally Sulaiman, was on site early with the Crew and supervised every aspect of the Job. I was not very pleased when I found out the extent of damage to the wood decking after the old shingles were stripped off and learned how much extra it would be for all the replacement wood sheeting, but it was not due to Apollo, but to age and neglect. Wally took charge of going and picking up all the extra wood and making sure it got replaced timely. This did add lots of extra time and the Crew did nit finish until after 8 PM and then did the best they could working by flashlight on the clean up all around the house. Wally came back the next day to perform another go around of the roof and yard. I am so glad that I went with Apollo for this Job, I have even recommended them several times to people on the Neighborhood App. Great Job Guys.+3Posted on Google

Karisa Weigand149 days agoI received a phone call before my appointment from Julian, my project manager. Then, I got an email with his picture and description, which made me less wary as a female customer, which I really appreciated. Julian showed up on time and introduced himself and then immediately got to work. He walked my roof and used a drone to inspect and photograph everything. He found not only the damage that had happened from a tree falling on my house, but an overall deteriorated state for the rest, which I could clearly see from the pictures. I was originally only looking to fix the tree damage, but after Julian showed me what things looked like, he saw down and showed me in great detail exactly what Appllo Roofing is about and could do to give my house a great new roof using excellent materials and professional installation. The company has received multiple certifications and rewards for excellence and they give you a 50 year warranty on the roof. In addition to that, they will do all the work for no money down and very affordable payments. I ended up scheduling for Apollo to not only fix the damage from the tree, but install a new roof and gutter system, which they also do. And it should all be done in a couple of days within the next week or so. I am so glad I found this company, and I am sure the roof is going to be as excellent as Julian's service was.Posted on Google

Yaritza Gonzalez170 days agoUPDATE: I wanted to update my review because after my original post, the company responded and came out to address the leaks. The repairs have been completed, and I appreciate their effort in making things right. My frustration was mainly with the lack of communication in the beginning, but I do value that they ultimately stood behind their work and resolved the issue. I was initially very happy with the service and the roofing work itself. Everything seemed professional, and I felt confident in the quality of the job. Unfortunately, that changed once issues started coming up. After experiencing a leak, I contacted the company and never received a response. When a second leak appeared in a different area a few weeks later, I called again and was specifically assured that someone would reach back out to address the issue. Once again, I never heard back. A roofing company’s service shouldn’t end once the job is paid for, standing behind your work and responding to customer concerns is just as important as the installation itself. The lack of follow-through and communication has been extremely disappointing.Posted on Google

Laura Jinkins244 days agoFINAL EDIT: I am pleased that Apollo sent someone out to clean the roofing debris from our attic. The worker was polite and careful to not pull any of the debris down into the living spaces of our home. The project supervisor, Wally, came out when he was finished to make sure we were satisfied. In addition, Apollo issued us an $800 refund to compensate us for all the inconvenience. While there were some challenges, overall, Apollo Roofing did the right thing to earn our satisfaction and four stars. (Also, the roof is very sound with no issues after a bad rainstorm we had a few weeks ago. So nice to know the inside of our home will stay dry in inclement weather.) EDIT: Apollo Roofing saw my edited review and reached out to us. They are sending someone to clean up the roofing debris in our attic. Depending on how things go, I will report back with an updated review. I am impressed that they offered to do this without my asking. EDIT: This past weekend (October 18) my son-in-law went up in our attic and discovered roofing debris that was dropped in our attic while they worked on our roof. When my son-in-law opened the access panel to go up in the attic, roofing debris fell on his head and into the hall. That is why my review has been reduced to a 2 star review. The original price we were quoted was based on removal of the old shingles, with new 50 year Owens Corning shingles being placed on the original decking and this was supposed to be a one day job. When about 70% of the old shingles had been removed, it was discovered that our decking was in poor shape and needed to be replaced — the entire roof, not just parts of it. So our $15,000 roof became a $33,000 roof that would require two days. They took photos and we were able to see the problem was real. The second day they came out to finish — it was really hot and we were worried about them getting overheated — but they pushed through, took breaks, drank plenty of water and at dusk the roof was finished. We signed off on it, but discovered the next day that there were a few issues revealed in the bright light of day. A couple of places where our gutter leaf guard was pushing the edge of the shingles up, and the tips of some decking nails had punched through at an angle and were visible under the eaves. They sent a couple of roofers out to take care of these issues without complaint and seem to sincerely care that we were satisfied with the job at the end of the day. Scheduling this was stressful though because the Apollo scheduler wanted to get them out to our house asap, and that was not convenient for us. The scheduler kept insisting, and I ended up having to tell them I would not be bullied. I hated resorting to that kind of language to make it clear that I did not want the repairs done until I could be there and sign off on everything. This was probably the most frustrating element of the entire project. There were some hiccups with the financing paperwork — we got approved with no problem, but dealing with documents digitally was frustrating because of an error made regarding our address. I think Apollo Roofing is a good company and anyone considering them will have a good roof when all is said and done. A couple of things I would recommend: don’t be in a hurry to make a decision. When you get the quote, go to your own bank to seek financing if you can’t pay cash. The finance company they use charges high interest (our loan is at 12.99% and our credit scores are considered “excellent” by the credit reporting agencies). We will be refinancing with our bank at a much more reasonable rate of 7.25%. Also, if you own an older home, be prepared that your decking may need to be replaced and the original quote may go up a good bit depending on if you need just some decking replaced or the whole roof decked. Again, the people of Apollo Roofing are great — I was always treated with respect, even when things got a little stressful due to unexpected issues. Just be prepared for the unexpected, which could happen with any roofing company.Posted on Google

Lori Phillips272 days agoI am so impressed with Apollo’s team. Rey, the supervisor was so professional, kind & knowledgeable. He went above and beyond the entire time they were at our home. He worked closely with his team. On the ground & on the roof. The whole team was unbelievably hardworking & professional. They arrived early, worked non-stop, and cleaned the whole work area after they were finished. It’s hard to believe the roof was leaking, despite the fact it was only 4.5 years old. Clayton homes did a horrible job & refused to take responsibility. So, after 4 quotes from our area. We decided to go with Apollo and we are 100% satisfied! We made Rey aware of our concerns and he made sure he addressed each one. He walked us through the process & what they were doing to fix the issues. Not only did he tell us, he showed us pictures he had taken from beginning to end of the entire installation. I don’t want to forget about the office staff! Penny is amazing and responded quickly to our phone calls and texts. Thank you all for making this relatively painless. Oh, and they were the best price out of the 4 quotes we had. We would have actually paid less money had Clayton homes initially placed the plywood to code on the ridge vent. Apollo had to fix the mess Clayton homes left us to avoid future issues. Please don’t hesitate to give them a call should you need roof repairs or replacement.Posted on Google

Fantastic young man, well versed in his company's mission, a man who obviously loves his work. He and the company offer a long warranty, well documented processes and a work ethic that appear to be above reproach. His presentation was comprehensive and enjoyable, and he provided samples of the materials to be used along with photos of each step of the project. I was happy to learn that this company provides other services as well. No other service provider has ever impressed me but we're excited about this. All issues arising from the roofing crew, (of which Yousuf was not a part) have now, through Yousuf himself, been adjusted to my satisfaction. Yousuf is a superstar. I think Apollo could have handled my issues vastly differently, but today, Yousuf spent the time to work things out with me. Give this guy a bonus!Posted on Google

bombay067337 days agoJacob is an absolute standout — a true differentiator at your company and a young future leader in the making. His professionalism, communication, and relationship-building skills are on another level. He came fully prepared, delivered a flawless presentation, tailored everything to my needs, and followed up promptly every step of the way. He met my sense or urgency and was surgical and thorough with his visit. I got five other quotes, and not one competitor came close to the Jacob experience. Where others were vague, slow, or pushy, Jacob was confident, detailed, and fully in control — eliminating every concern and clearly itemizing the entire roofing scope without hesitation. Though price was higher than what I was pursuing, compared to prior quotes, Jacob took the effort to walk me through each cost and the warranty via phone, not just watching a video or reading numbers. I canceled 2 other roofing company inspections after meeting him. He goes above and beyond, and it shows. Jacob is exactly the kind of person who separates winning companies from the rest. He’s a keeper — don’t let him go.Posted on Google

Kristjan-Daniel Von Erland362 days agoI recently hired Mo from Apollo to inspect my roof, and I couldn’t be more pleased with his professionalism and attention to detail. From the very beginning, he was punctual, friendly, and clearly explained every step of the inspection. Mo carefully examined all areas of the roof, including the attic and gutters, took detailed photos, pointed out even minor issues, and gave clear, practical recommendations for prevention. His report was very thorough and easy to understand — with photos and explanations of what needed attention and why. What I appreciated most is that Mo didn’t just “check the boxes” — he truly cared and treated the job as if it were his own roof. Thanks to his inspection, I now have full confidence in the condition of my roof and know exactly how to maintain it. I highly recommend Mo and Apollo Roofing Inspections to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable professional. Phil Simmons407 days agoI actually had decided to use Wabo Roofing and had just finished meeting with them. When Julian from Apollo arrived. I was ready to tell him, I was good, Don’t come in, when he said, would you like for me to at least show you what I have, I think you’ll be surprised…and I was. He started by showing Apollo Roofing’s credentials, before I asked. Believe me I was ready to shut him down, convinced that they wouldn’t meet my standards. Instead, he gave me everything I needed to see, and more, beginning with licensing, not only from the roofing association, but the product manufacturer as well. He followed that with bonding and insurance, all of which were up to date and current. The Owens Corning shingle manufacturer’s material offered a total protection roofing system that creates a waterproof seal which combined with their Starter strip plus shingle and their “Surenail” technology, let me know there’s a line between a good shingle and a great shingle. With Apollo being a “Preferred Contractor, they also offered warranties and service that were second to none. The icing was the price, fair and reasonable, which is what you want to pay and get primo service at the same time. Thank you Julian for introducing patiently to me, a magnificent product. I’m looking forward and even excited about getting service to match.+3Posted on Google
